Extra ATTICO® storey on Loonstrasse in Oberrohrdorf

We added an extra living floor and an attic to an existing two-storey apartment building in a tranquil and picturesque location in Oberrohrdorf, completely renovating the existing façade at the same time. A rubbing was made of the existing façade and applied to the prefabricated exterior timber elements to blend the new living floor in with the old. In contrast, the decision was made to clearly distinguish the attic from the rest of the building by cladding it with pre-greyed, rear-ventilated wooden formwork. In total, the extra storey for accommodation added ten new apartments to the building. Besides performing the timber construction, Häring AG managed the entire project, including permits, planning and site supervision.
